In the game of chess, the pawn is the weakest piece, and it is often used metaphorically to indicate something that is unimportant or expendable. In the game of College Football, Nu’Keese has become that pawn for the University of Tennessee football program.
Kiffin first used Nu’Keese back in February at an “energetic breakfast” with some of Tennessee’s donors and alumni. Kiffin claimed Urban Meyer broke NCAA rules by calling Richardson while he was at UT on a recruiting visit.
Andre Branch can clearly be seen getting all up in the facemask much like Brandon Spikes did in the Georgia game. The only thing is I’ve not hear a thing about this from the national media. Has Clemson issued a suspension, or has the ACC even looked into it? Mike Golic where are you at on this one?

After the Georgia game, Riley Cooper was on ESPN’s First Take to talk about the unbelievable one-handed catch he had for a touchdown. In the interview, he was asked about his baseball career and signing with the Texas Rangers. As he was telling about the the signing process, Cooper said the three weeks he had to wait to hear that he could play this year were the longest 3 weeks of his life.
